Saxon Business Park Looks Recession Proof - Westbridge & Co Sell and Let over 20,000 sq ft of New Build Industrial Units in extremely difficult market conditions and achieve record breaking prices of £90 per sq ft Freehold. The owners of the last large plots of land at Saxon Business Park had pretty much shelved the idea of selling new build industrial units in the recession until Westbridge & Co kick started the sale of plot 11 on a design and build basis to a refrigeration company. Following this sale plot 13 was then pre-sold off plan on a design and build basis with the remainder of the 20,000 sq ft units being sold and let once built.

The Business Park is situated between Astwood Bank and Feckenham, and was originally part of a farm that was sold off back in 2002. Over the past 11 years the owner John Ranson has redeveloped the site into high quality Industrial Units and a separate state of the art self storage centre known as Astwood Storage. In 2011 Westbridge & Co were instructed to market the Industrial Units on the site and over the past two years have secured tenants for all of the empty Units including a large 17,000 sq ft Unit which was let to Imagination Street with a change of use to a Children's Play Centre. Kinwarton Development 100% Success - Westbridge & Co were instructed to sell a new development of industrial units on behalf of Alcester Estates Ltd in October 2013. The units were Alcester’s first speculative development for since the early 1990’s and proved very popular from the off. The site consisted of a terrace of four unit of 750 sq ft each as well as a detached unit of 1500 sq ft. T: Both Sales and Lettings were agreed by Westbridge & Co within 8 weeks of marketing and the units completed in early spring 2014.

Sugarbrook Road, Industrial Estate Now Fully Let - Westbridge & Co are delighted to announce that they have now fully let the Sugarbrook Road industrial Estate at Bromsgrove. The Estate was constructed in the early 1990’s and consists of units from 1500 - 3000 sq ft. The spring market and the green shoots of coming out of a recession have certainly helped added Richard Johnson but we have also worked hard to achieve another fully occupied estate. Just last November there were four empty units on the estate and we have worked closely with occupiers to encourage them to take up the vacant space, our efforts were rewarded in April when the last unit was occupied.

Major Acquisition for Arc International - Westbridge & Co have just completed a 8 month acquisition of a 14.5 acre site known as Abbey View, Pinvin at Pershore, Worcestershire. Westbridge & Co were acting for Arc International who are a major manufacturer and distributer of glassware. Arc have been seeking larger premises for some time but the Abbey View site was larger than their original requirement, Arc decided to purchase the site and occupy part of the buildings leaving around 180,000 sq ft of vacant space to let. Westbridge & Co are now sole agents for the letting of the vacant space at Abbey View and are offering units from 10,000 sq ft on up.
