This month has seen a surge of activity at Alcester Employment Park. The new 36,000 sq ft Calgavin HQ building is currently under construction and the cladding is being installed now the steel frame has been erected. The developers, Graftongate of Henley in Arden, are overseeing the build and the main contractors are Benniman of Bromsgrove. At the same time the contractors for the new estate road Tanro have made a start on site installing the new estate road with associated infrastructure which will open up the balance of the estate all the way to the last plot, known as Plot 7. This is the last remaining freehold plot of 4.6 acres and is available as a freehold plot sale or a Design and Build warehouse built to suit an occupiers needs. The plot is capable of housing a 85,000 sq ft warehouse with associated parking, lorry turning and landscaping provisions. The estate road programme is due to complete in January 2024 with several of the buildings along this road being constructed within the next 18 months.
